How to Delete Other Storage on Your iPhone
If other storage is taking up space on your iPhone, I’m going to show you three simple ways to delete other storage on any iPhone.
First, open the Settings app, click on general and click iPhone storage.
This top graph shows you everything that is taking up space on your iPhone.
If you see other storage taking up any space on your iPhone, you can do three things to remove them. Other storage is usually cache files that some apps store on your phone.
If you want to see exactly how much space they are taking up, go to the very bottom of this page and click system data.
This will say that other system data includes “cache, logs, and other resources currently in use by the system.”
The first place to look in order to remove other storage is in the Safari app.
You can clear the cache files that Safari has stored from the settings menu.
The second place is inside individual apps. Look at the top 5 apps you use the most, and clear the cache inside each app.
And finally, make sure you don’t have old iOS update files on your phone. These may take up several gigabytes of storage.
You can also offload apps and that will remove the cache files.
